LKSoft is an internationally operating company on software development and standardization of industrial product data exchange and integration. This covers CAD, CAM, PDM and other data management systems for industrial products. A special focus is on the standards:
- ISO 10303 an ISO standard for the computer-interpretable representation and exchange of product manufacturing information. Its official title is: Automation systems and integration — Product data representation and exchange. It is known informally as "STEP", which stands for "Standard for the Exchange of Product model data". ISO 10303 can represent 3D objects in Computer-aided design (CAD) and related information.

ISO 15926 an ISO standard for data integration, sharing, exchange, and hand-over between computer systems. This standard has a much more generic data model compared to STEP and is suitable to be directly implmented in OWL
In 2022 Semantic STEP Technology GmbH, Germany, a subsidiary of LKSoft in cooperation with DCT Co., Ltd., China, Tianjin, started a new software development under the title SST - Semantic STEP Technology.
